Tell US House & the President: Pass Senate Bill Now & Live To Fight Another Day!

The US House of Representatives is still hemming and hawing about what to do about health reform. Really?! Some are scratching their heads and wondering if they should start over and try to find a compromise with the GOP. Really?!!! Have we been watching two difference shows? Neither the House nor the Senate Republicans will vote for health care reform. How do we know this? Because 1) they have told us they won't and 2) their votes have been "no." While the Senate bill is not all that we wanted, the it is the best we are going to get now that Republicans have 41 senators and can filibuster (block).

The House must pass the Senate's health care bill. By doing so it will go directly to President Obama to sign. Not doing so will mean a long, slow death for health reform and will impede Congress and the President from focusing on jobs and the economy.

You need to do 2 things - Now through Saturday

1) Call all the US House Members from Tennessee, who are stilling considering supporting reform (they are listed below)

and

2) Call the President.

It is not all we wanted, but we are not going to get a better bill this year. Americans need your leadership and are growing impatient. They are growing restless and turning attention to jobs and the economy. Get the historic reform passed now and work to improve it later.
